Are you a Jack Look-Alike?
Are you not only a Jack Kerouac fan but also his look-alike? This weekend, head down to Type Books, Toronto’s gorgeous Queen West bookstore, where a contest for this Beat writer’s look-alike is being held on Sunday at 4pm. You will be asked to read a passage from On the Road, his famous 1950’s novel about the writer’s spontaneous road trips with his friends across America. This year commemorates the 50th anniversary of the publishing of this popular novel.
