Back in Business
We're back! Can't say for how long but if the most recent tech support person at Startlogic is right then we have nothing to fear. It turns out that they've just combined with another company and somehow managed to screw up their billing system. As a result several customers were deemed to have been 'cancelled' and their accounts terminated. So, for the hassle of having our site go down, receiving no contact or information, and getting mixed messages from each tech support member for nearly a week, we were extended three free months of hosting. Although it doesn't come close to making up for the inconvenience, let alone the loss, the idea of having to sit on hold with them for another 2 hours and taking the chance of getting someone who knows what they are talking about is hardly worth it. I guess that's what they are counting on.
On that note -- we are very happy to be back and wish all the Americans a Happy Thanksgiving!We'll be back after the holidays.
