Água de Beber in Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro is filled with fun, cultural activities. This theater piece is a loose overview of capoeira, the Brazilian martial art. With no straight plot line, it is a beautiful performance of capoeira and capoeira-inspired movement and live music. The performances are top quality and the small amount of dialogue makes this piece accessible and worthwhile even if you don’t speak Portuguese. The show is held at Teatro do Jockey, a small theater located within the racetrack facilities, and runs through November 1st.
