Passover On The Road
There's nothing worse than being away from home for the holidays. A big thanks to Pam over at Nerd's Eye View for discovering The Seder Finder - an international seder directory. Travelers can enter their country and city to find local synagogues for Passover Seder. Note that the directory is run by Chabad, which askmoses.com tells me is a philosophy that ascribes great importance to understanding the mystical. It is also the name for the international network of Lubavitch outreach centers, the world’s largest Jewish outreach and social-services organization - so outsiders will be very welcome here.
For those who prefer to stick to the culinary aspect of this holiday, I highly recommend the brisket recipe that I tested last year. I've since learned that no one should attempt to make matzo ball soup from scratch, so I'll be heading straight to the instant-mix variety in the grocery aisle.
Happy Passover! Here's a fun little video that Seth promises me is not offensive...
