OTR's Brazilian Editor Featured in O Globo
This past weekend, Lee Weingast, our editor in Brazil, was featured in Brazil's national newspaper, O Globo. The cover story, '50 Places to Remember That Rio Can be Paradise', is a compendium of tips from people who live in, study, and sing about this marvelous city. They share their favorite places where, despite the violence and problems, this city can be enjoyed.

And what do you know, a gringo in the mix? American, Lee Weingast, has been living in Rio for four years and fills the pages of the travel web site On the Road Travel with information about Brazil's sights. So, she has come to know places that many Cariocas ignore. "Dois Irmãos Park is a great place for a picnic and the Insituto Moreira Salles has exhibits, a music collection and a café. I love Santa Teresa; the Open Studios event shouldn't be missed, especially with a ride on the cable car (bondinho)" she says.
